Improve Western Entrance to CBD

The High St. bridge is an eyesore and has been for a long time. This is one of the main entrances into Blenheim's CBD. The Taylor River Reserve has been improved immensely over the last few decades, but the bridge neglected. How about creating a much better impression for visitors and locals by ripping down the buckled wooden approaches and replacing with some nice wrought iron work. Also the bridge sides themselves could be tastefully painted with something a lot better, without costing a fortune.

First impressions of a town or city to visitors can make a big difference to deciding whether they stop, and spend money/ recommend to others.
