The Whale Trail

The completion of the Picton to Blenheim Whale Trail biking track would be a great attraction for biking tourists and local biking groups in Marlborough.  The completed sections are magical so we need a concerted effort to find and fund a safe biking route in and out of Picton, and to complete the remaining unfinished sections. 

The completion of the Picton to Blenheim Whale Trail would develop a huge tourist drawcard for Marlborough, and encourage great health benefits for local bike riders.  The bike trail would also keep bike riders off the busy roads and highways.  This safety improvement would encourage more people onto bikes, and consequently would improve their health and wellbeing.
