Netball Courts Resurfacing

Resurfacing a small number of netball courts at Lansdowne Park with a rubberised surface, and explore lighting for these courts. 

Marlborough Netball Centre is now ready for some of the outdoor courts at Lansdowne Park to be resurfaced. With the covered courts in future LTP discussions, a short-term solution is needed to support improvements and growth for the game to the playing surfaces at Lansdowne Park. 

The preferred option to consider would be the 'Rebound Ace HSA' from Hardwood Surfacing, as per advice from internal MDC Parks. https://www.hardwood.co.nz/outdoor-hardcourts/rebound-ace-hsa-5 

Resurfacing some of the courts closest to the Sports Hub would support better utilisation for competitions and higher playing grades, and support performance and comfort for athletes.

Additionally, MNC would then like to explore some lighting for these top courts, that do not have any currently, to be able to maximise the usage of these resurfaced courts, which are currently limited to winter daylight hours in season.
