Fluoride free

A referendum to be held to gauge whether the people of Blenheim actually agree to having fluoride in their water or not, before large sums of money are spent building a plant to facilitate a toxic substance being put in our water.

My idea is important because putting a toxic substance in our drinking water without the approval of all Marlborough residents is undemocratic and a disaster for our health.

The health department might have mandated it but Whangārei District Council has voted to seek an interim injunction staying the Director General's directive on fluoridation of the water until the New Health NZ judicial review against the Director General has been decided.
