Boardwalk Waipuna Stream

At the end of Rānui Street a natural wooden boardwalk (walkers only) to be on the hill side of Waipuna Stream that connects between the two existing walking tracks from Rānui Street to Huia Street. In the future the existing willow trees may be removed so that would be a good opportunity to do that boardwalk. With the Waipuna Stream on one side and the natives trees on the hill side, this short walk has potential to be a nature walk with native plantings and birdlife.  

Will become a boardwalk with history and surrounded by native plantings and bird life. The nearby Coomunity Garden is another attraction in that area.
